Relics are here to stay and if you want to dominate your arena and have the best possible squards in Territory Wars and the Galatic Arena then you will need to take your best characters up a bit more.
You could just trade whatever you have available to the Scavenger, but there are certain items that are a better deal to trade. Some of these things can be upgraded from junk into something bigger to save you resources.
